One of my favorite trees, in my favorite light, with one of my favorite families. This is what Golden Hour is all about.
Hello all! I will be out of the office (and the country!) until September 29th. I’m headed to Belgium and Holland with my mother; we’re both celebrating big birthdays this year and decided a trip together would be the best way to honor that. I will have internet access while I’m there, but texts will be limited and I won’t be able to respond to calls. I will try to get back to everyone as soon as possible, but please understand I’ll be 6 hours ahead and spending time with my mom! I’ll be responding to emails and calls when I return on the 30th.
Last month I went out to California to visit my dad and do a road trip with him. We hit up 3 national parks, Yosemite, Sequoia and Kings Canyon, and also made a trip out to Pismo Beach, then up the coast through Big Sur and finally ended in San Francisco. We both had an amazing time, there is nothing that compares to our national parks! I decided to take a leap of faith this trip and only bring my film camera with me. I was nervous for sure, if I did something wrong I would lose all of my vacation photos! But the risk was worth it and it paid off. I’m happy to say that there wasn’t one shot out of 8 rolls that wasn’t properly exposed! Woohoo! This was a big deal to me since I am still new to shooting on this system. There were, of course, some photos I liked better than others, and those are the ones I’m sharing here. The whole trip was a great adventure and sharing with my dad was even better. I hope you enjoy the photos from this beautiful part of our country!

It’s that time of year again! The holidays are just around the corner (17 weeks until Christmas!) so photos for holiday cards and gifts are a must! I have a jam-packed fall and will be offering holiday mini sessions on two different days this year, October 4th and November 1st. I’ll also be offering two different kinds of sessions this year: digital and film. Digital is the traditional way I’ve shot, but I also have a medium format camera that produces beautiful, creamy-dreamy images. A little nostalgic and a little more fine art! All of the details are below, and I’m only offering 5 slots on each day.
Please send me an email or a message through the contact link above to secure your slot. Please also specify if you’d like the digital or film session in your message. If you’d like a family session but aren’t able make one of these days, my regular Mini Session will be the session to book instead (weekdays only). The Holiday Session pricing will only be honored on the days above.
Time slots are first come first served
I cannot wait to see all of my favorite families this year (and hopefully some new faces too!). If you have any questions about the sessions as well please send me a message. I’ll be happy to answer whatever I can.
Happy (early) Holidays!
This lady is pretty amazing. I have known Kristen since the 3rd grade, so we go way back! She is the kindest, most genuine and honest person I know, and I am honored that I got to document her little family on film earlier this month. Her two boys are so sweet and full of personality, just wait till you see some of the faces they made during our time together. I love it! I love to see their personalities, and while they may not be the perfectly posed photos everyone wants, in many ways I love them more because they’re real. Their laughter, silliness, and love for their mom shines through. Kristen is such a beautiful woman, and her strength and grace blows me away. I hope you enjoy this darling family, and if you’d like a family film session of your own filled with goofiness and laughter, please contact me!
Jessica & Justin’s Isla Del Sol wedding in St. Pete Beach was just perfect! The two decided on a morning wedding, and while I was nervous that the sun and heat were going to be bad, we were lucky that we got a bit of cloud cover for some shade on the docks and beach for their portraits. The pair got ready at the beautiful Sandpearl Resort and did their first look there before heading to the church. Jessica’s dressing details were just gorgeous, I was obsessed with her lace shrug that went over her wedding dress. She was pure elegance! Justin looked pretty dapper too in his classic black suit. And let’s talk about Jessica’s bouquet for a second. I loved it’s organic, loose feel, with ribbons trailing on the end. It was beautiful. I had such a wonderful time working with this couple (I photographed her sister’s wedding several years ago, I love working with families multiple times!) and I know that their honeymoon in Italy will be nothing short of perfect! Congratulations again you two on such a beautiful marriage, and thank you for having me be a part of your wedding day!
Little Elise was such a sweet little baby! At just 11 days old she completely rocked her newborn session. Hardly a peep out of her the whole time! I photographed her parents’ engagement session and wedding several years ago, and I am so honored that I got to document their newest (and most exciting!) milestone. Congratulations Ashlyn & Jonathan on your darling little girl, I cannot wait to see how she grows!
I’m so very excited to have two features this month! Michelle & Michael’s gorgeous Bella Collina Wedding was featured in The Knot magazine Florida fall issue. Michelle is an incredible wedding photographer herself, and we she asked me last summer if I would shoot digital along side her film shooting friend (Adeline of You Look Lovely Photography) I instantly said yes! I knew Michelle’s wedding would be nothing less than absolutely gorgeous, and it was. I’m so honored to be a part of this magazine, The Knot was one of the few mags available when I got married! The Central Florida section opens to one of my images, Michelle’s amazing table scape that they had for their 30-something guests. Thank you again Michelle for having me be a part of your wedding day!
