Kaitlyn & John : NYC Engagement Session

Wow. Photographing a couple in NYC has for a long time been a life goal for me. When I met Kaitlyn & John about their wedding, we had a 2 hour meeting, talking the whole time about more than just photography. We instantly clicked and I loved it. John told me how he proposed to Kaitlyn in NYC and how special it was to them so I said “why don’t we do your engagement session in New York City?” Kaitlyn & John loved the idea, and they knew they were heading up there this fall for Thanksgiving to visit family. It would be the perfect time for me to come up as well. So over the next few months Kaitlyn & I planned all the details and made it happen. And it was amazing. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect NYC shooting experience. The weather was incredible, the light was gorgeous and Kaitlyn & John were awesome. We trekked all around Central Park for almost 4 hours (It seemed like we did more walking than shooting at times!) and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Kaitlyn sent me the sweetest note after I posted her photos, its reasons like this I love my job:
