One of the biggest compliments a wedding photographer can receive is when another photographer hires them for their wedding and engagement photos. Chad and I went through the same photo program together at UCF, but he was a year older than me and we never had a class together. I had always admired his work, so when he contact me saying he and Julia wanted to use me for their wedding, I knew I wanted to be a part of their day.
One thing I realized while doing their shoot, working with other artists challenges you so much more. I’m always a little nervous photographing other photographers (they know our craft better than anyone!) but I am beyond happy with Julia & Chad’s results. They were adorable, comfortable and in love. Making my job even easier that day :)
Enjoy the photos on this beautiful January afternoon, and take your family out to the Strawberry Farm sometime! The lovely people at Oak Haven Strawberry Farm were kind enough to let us shoot on their property.

Rusting, old Chevy truck in the field? Makes for a great prop :).jpg)

Chad actually USES this camera. Isn’t that awesome? I love that we included it in our shoot
The photographer’s prospective when using this beauty

I think these next three are my favorites
