Ok, you might be wondering who “Bristen” is. This is an engagement post right? So why just the one person? Well, Kristen (the bride) informed me that their families refer to them as Bristen (Brian & Kristen) much like Brangelina or Bennifer. So it only seemed fitting that Bristen be the title of this post :) But also, Kristen wanted paparazzi photos for their save the dates, so at the end of our shoot, we conjured up some cute, albeit very harsh flash photos of these two escaping me, their paparazzi. But aside from their paparazzi photos, we had an awesome time at the Lake County Fair for their session. When we originally met during their consultation I brought up the idea of the fair for their photos, and they jumped all over it. I am so glad that it worked out, these two were the perfect couple for the fair. Full of laughter, energy and just plain fun. They had me laughing the entire shoot. And they were laughing at each other! There is nothing in photography love more than people laughing in photos. It is genuine, uninhibited and so darn cute. And speaking of darn cute, they brought along their adorable dog, Tucker, for a few shots at the beginning of the shoot. Just look at that adorable face!!
Bristen, your photos are finally up on the blog ;) I know you have been anxiously waiting for their arrival. I had such an amazing time with you two, and I think Zach and I will have to take you up on that drink! I am so excited about your wedding this October, it will be here before we know it!

Kristen, I seriously had such an amazing time with you two, and if I wasn’t going to be photographing your wedding, I would definitely be an honorary bridesmaid ;) Just stick a flower in my hair! haha. I’m so in love with these….words cannot describe. Brian is concerned I might invite you to be a bridesmaid b/c you’re so brilliant and I talk about how great you are so much, he’s not far off except then you couldn’t take our pictures for the wedding.
